I'm a Brand and Product Designer with over 5 years of experience, skilled in team building, and passionate about creating unique brand experiences and user-beloved software.
My journey at Gitpod began in 2019 when I joined as the first GTM hire. I took end-to-end responsibility of the website, led a team of software engineers and ensured a consistent and joyful brand experience across all channels. In the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup, my role encompassed various domains, from go-to-market and growth to engineering and community, always with a grounding focus on brand, and product design.
A broad understanding of the ecosystem is crucial for impactful designs. By deeply understanding underlying goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility, and by leveraging data-driven insights, I ensure that my designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically impactful and user-centric.
For me, learning is a lifelong journey, essential for both personal and professional growth. Currently, I'm taking some time to deepen my frontend development skills with a focus on mastering CSS and JavaScript, eager to broaden my skill set and tackle new challenges ahead.

What I do when I’m not on my computer
Nature is the place where I recharge and find inspiration. In early 2024, I relocated to Norway and love to immerse myself in its amazing landscapes. Beside that, I have a passion for woodworking, using mostly old materials that are either cut-offs overs or pre-used. It's very rewarding to re-use these material and create something new!
